Article: Patent No. 7,581,695 Issued on Sept. 1, Assigned to Agusta for Helicopter (Italian, Timorese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 5 -- Giuseppe Gasparini of Gallarate, Italy, Sergio Sartori of Milan, Italy, and Nihat Yildirim of Gaziantep, East Timor, have developed an aircraft with a modified gear. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,581,695 on Sept. 1.

The patent has been assigned to Agusta S.p.A., Samarate, Italy.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is described a helicopter having a transmission for transmitting motion from a driving member to a driven member; the transmission has at least a first gear driven by the driving member, and a second gear meshing with the first gear and in turn driving the driven member; ...
