GENEVA, Sept. 6 -- Pierre Savard and Michael Buschmann, both of Canada, and John Harding, the U.S., have developed a method for non-invasive measuring of load-induced electric potentials in diarthroidial joints. The patent has been assigned to CORPORATION DE L'ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE DE MONTREAL, Quebec. According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention aims to describe a "method for non-invasively measuring electrical activity in a joint of a subject, the method comprising removably attaching in a non-invasive manner at least two electrodes to a skin surface around an articulation comprising the joint, generating electroarthrographic potentials ...
