Article: UNITED KINGDOM: ROYAL MARINES OPEN NEW REHABILITATION UNIT

LONDON, Sept. 7 -- The government of United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence's Royal Navy issued the following news release:

A new unit has been formed within the Royal Marines to specifically help aid the recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration of Marines who require focused and individual attention.

Hasler Company is dedicated to the specific and complex needs of seriously injured and ill Royal Marines who require specially tailored programmes and additional bespoke support.

Commander of 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, Brigadier Gordon Messenger, opened the new unit today, Monday 7 September 2009, at its base at HMS Drake, HM Naval Base Devonport, in Plymouth.
