ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- Robert J. Lutz and Mark S. Birrittella, both of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Eric C. Fromm of Eau Claire, Wis., and Harro Zimmermann of Onalaska, Wis., have developed a transistor level verilog. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,587,305 on Sept. 8.
The patent has been assigned to Cray Inc., Seattle.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method includes specifying a first set of interconnected devices associated with a first leaf cell in Verilog syntax, and specifying a second set of interconnected devices associated with a second leaf cell in Verilog syntax.
