Ranchi, Sep. 10 -- Travelling has become a nightmare on the Ranchi-Chaibasa road due its poor condition.
Most of the old bridges over rivers have become weak due to poor maintenance by the Government.
Considered as one of the most important highways; the Ranchi-Chaibasa highway connects the State capital with Singhbhum-Kolhan's headquarters. This highway navigates through the hilly terrains between Bandgaon and Tebo Ghati, which is a single-lane. One has to cross bridges on this hilly terrain.
The long-route buses, private vehicles and those carrying iron ore from West Singhbhum have to travel either via Chaibasa-Chakradharpur-Ranchi road or the Chaibasa-Seraikela-Kandra road, which is ...
