WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- The office of Sen. Christopher S. Dodd, D-Conn., issued the following news release:
The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs has broad responsibility for issues that are central to the economic security and prosperity of the people of Connecticut - everything from protection for consumers in the financial sector to combating foreclosures to expanding public transportation across the state. As Chairman of the Committee, Senator Dodd will continue to build on a strong record of working for Connecticut.
