Modulation can impact formation of keratin, other matrix components
Sophia Antipolis, France- A recent study showed that the modulation of hair follicle markers in human skin graft samples can positively impact the expression of several hair follicle components, including the formation of keratin and collagen as well as other key components of the hair matrix.
According to one expert, a better understanding of hair biology and the potentiation of the intricate interactions of the various hair follicle components through future topical therapies can, ultimately, be instrumental in improving hair vitality and regeneration of hair.
