WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- The office of Sen. David Vitter, R-La., issued the following news release:
United States Senators Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., and David Vitter, R-La., today secured $25 million to expand the National World War II Museum, located in New Orleans, La. The Department of Defense funds, which were approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee today, will be used to construct the Museum's United States Freedom Pavilion, an expansion that will include an exhibit focused on the American home front during World War II.
