ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 11 -- Thierry Baptiste of Lannion, France, and Clement Legendre of Kermaria Sulard, France, have developed a converter with many channels. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,586,761 on Sept. 8.
The patent has been assigned to Harmer-Simmons (France)SAS, Lannion.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A converter having a plurality of channels includes a transformer having a primary winding and at least one secondary winding.
