AUBURN, Ala., Sept. 10 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service Alabama office issued the following news release:
September 14-19, 2009, has been declared Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Week. Governor Bob Riley signed a proclamation recognizing the 335 volunteer supervisors who serve in 67 Soil and Water Conservation Districts across the state for their hard work and dedication to Alabama's land and water resources.
