GENEVA, Sept. 15 -- Alexander Egli, Philip Holoch, Urs Niederhauser and Frank Lehnert, all from Switzerland, have developed a device for measuring and regulating a volume flow in a ventilation pipe.
The patent has been assigned to BELIMO HOLDING AG, Hinwil, Switzerland.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention that concerns a "device for measuring a volume flow in a ventilation pipe comprises a mounting that can be fixed in the ventilation pipe and a sensor element having a sensor surface, said element being disposed on the mounting and configured as a thermal anemometer.
