ATHENS, Ga., Sept. 15 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
University of Georgia education professor and interim director of the Institute of Women's Studies Juanita Johnson-Bailey has been named to the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame's Class of 2009.
Johnson-Bailey, a professor of adult education in the College of Education's department of lifelong education, administration, and policy, is widely known for her scholarship related to race, gender and power in adult and continuing education, particularly in the context of higher education.
