SAN ANGELO, Texas, Sept. 14 -- Angelo State University issued the following news release:
Dr. Detelin S. Elenkov, professor of international management at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, has been appointed as the first holder of the Norris Family Chair in International Business at Angelo State University.
Elenkov, who will arrive at ASU in January, will be a faculty member in the College of Business. He has been involved in international business since 1984, both in industry and academia. His industry experience includes two years (1984-86) as country manager for Honeywell International Inc. in Sofia, Bulgaria, followed by two years as regional manager in Zurich, Switzerland.
