ALVA, Okla., Sept. 15 -- Northwestern Oklahoma State University issued the following news release:

Herod Hall Auditorium at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will be full of excitement as the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats kick off the 2009-2010 Northwest Oklahoma Concert Series, on Monday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m.

Other Concert Series performers include the Byron Berline Band, Edgar Cruz and the Les Elgart Orchestra. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m., and will be held in Herod Hall Auditorium on the Alva campus.

Audience members will be amazed watching the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats perform acrobatics, balancing feats, martial arts displays and much more. This is a show for all ages.
