GENEVA, Sept. 18 -- Nobuhisa Noda, Takanori Hattori and Akane Oguro, all from Japan, have developed a solar cell module backsheet.
The patent has been assigned to Nippon Shokubai Co. Ltd., Osaka, Japan.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "solar cell module backsheet comprising a laminate obtained by laminating at least two substrates by means of an acrylic adhesive, wherein the acrylic adhesive has hydrolysis resistance, insulation resistance, and water barrier properties, a solar cell module including the solar cell module backsheet, and a solar cell including the solar cell module.
