GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 18 -- The University of Florida issued the following news release:
From Sept. 18 through Sept. 27, the School of Theatre and Dance at the University of Florida will present A Streetcar Named Desire. The play is written by legendary playwright, Tennessee Williams.
A Streetcar Named Desire reveals the very depths of the character Blanche du Bois, a woman whose life has been undermined by her romantic illusions, which lead her to reject the realities of life she is faced with and consistently ignores.
