GAINESVILLE, Ga., Sept. 18 -- The Georgia Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Wildlife Resources Division recently selected Sergeant Mike Burgamy of the Gainesville Law Enforcement office as the 2009 Supervisor of the Year.
Burgamy oversees DNR Law Enforcement operations in Banks, Barrow, Hall and Jackson Counties, including Lake Lanier. He is a 15-year veteran of the department and began serving as sergeant in 2005.
