GENEVA, Sept. 22 -- Tomohiro Okumura and Fumihiko Tamamushi, both of Japan, have developed a boiler equipment and operation method.
The patent has been assigned to IHI Corp., Tokyo.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a/n " Boiler equipment comprising a coal fired boiler, a regenerative air pre-heater, equipped with a heat transfer section, for preheating air from the outside and feeding the preheated air as combustion air to the coal fired boiler, and a dry clinker conveyor for conveying ash discharged from the coal fired boiler while cooling the ash with cooling air introduced ...
