Article: Rep. Cummings Introduces Constitution and Citizenship Day Act of 2009

WASHINGTON, Sep. 22 -- Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, D-Maryland, has introduced the Constitution and Citizenship Day Act of 2009 (H.R. 3591), legislation that would "establish a grant program to enhance existing secondary education programs for the purpose of teaching high school students about the Constitution of the United States and the constitutions of the individual States."
