Cape Air passenger counts reach 800, service extended through March
About six months ago, Manheim Township resident MarkBacon's commute got a little easier.
Bacon, the chief retail officer for La-ZBoy Inc., works at the company's headquarters in Monroe, Mich.
What changed was that Hyannis, Mass.-based Cape Air began offering daily commercial flights between Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport and Lancaster Airport.
Bacon can now fly directly to BWI. He said he prefers that compared with hopping on a train to Philadelphia and getting to the airport there.
