DICKINSON, N.D., Sept. 23 -- Dickinson State University issued the following news release:

The Dickinson State University Department of Language and Literature presents its third annual film series "October is for Opera." Designed to heighten awareness of opera, the series will feature four different operas on Thursday evenings Oct. 1, 8, 22 and 29 at 7 p.m. in Beck Auditorium. This film series is free and open to the public.

* Oct. 1, Dr. Holly McBee, assistant professor of English, will introduce "Hamlet." Filmed live at the Barcelona Opera, this work by Ambroise Thomas will soon be premiered at the Metropolitan Opera in New York ...
