GENEVA, Sept. 24 -- Shinobu Kobayashi and Tetsuo Ishii, both of the U.S., have developed a bolt tightening method, device, supplying method, and bolt supplying device.
The patent has been assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to a "tightening head is provided with at least two sockets which are alternatively connected to an output shaft of a nut runner, a socket replacing mechanism and a bolt supplying mechanism.
