BROOKINGS, S.D., Sept. 14 -- South Dakota State University issued the following news release:

DVAGI-art-tinyThe Design and Visual Arts Group, Inc. at South Dakota State University will hold its annual fundraiser gala at the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Registrations must be made by Saturday, Sept. 26.

This year's theme, "Impressions," draws upon DVAGI's mission to create positive impressions in the design and visual arts fields by offering travel scholarships for SDSU students in the departments of design, merchandising and consumer sciences; horticulture, forestry, landscape and parks; and visual arts.
