ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 28 -- Srihari Cadambi of Cherry Hill, N.J., and Srimat T. Chakradhar of Manalapan, N.J., have developed an information retrieval architecture for packet classification. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,592,935 on Sept. 22.

The patent has been assigned to NEC Laboratories America Inc., Princeton, N.J.
