ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 29 -- Ulrich Kramer and Joerg Schumacher, both of Tuttlingen, Germany, Michael Potulski of Ohlstadt, Germany, Rudolf Beisse of Seehausen, Germany, and Jeffrey Alan Kozak of Houston, have developed an orthopedic fixation device. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,591,838 on Sept. 22.
The patent has been assigned to Aesculap AG, Tuttlingen.
