Local chef Andrew Barnes plans to bring dishes ranging from lobster bisque to hog maw to York's Central Market by the end of September.
The Busy Bee's first location will offer soups, salads, sandwiches and hot entrees, said Barnes, who is chef de cuisine at York-based The Lafayette Club. Barnes said he would like to expand his new business into a smallevent catering firm and open a bakery downtown.
"I would hope that it continues to grow and expand, keeping with the farmers market tradition, and (allow) the people in this small berg to have access to quality foods at reasonable prices," Barnes said.
