LAS CRUCES, N.M., Sept. 29 -- New Mexico State University issued the following news release:

The New Mexico State swimming and diving team begins the 2009-10 season with the Crimson and White scrimmage, Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. at the NM State Natatorium. The Aggies return 16 from last year's squad and welcome nine newcomers to the roster.

"Despite this being an exhibition meet, I expect to see some good performances and efforts," head coach Rick Pratt said. "Our team has more depth and is more competitive than ever. Seeing what our nine freshman can do will help us prepare for the WAC ...
