ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 3 -- Matthew M. Seabaugh and Scott L. Swartz, both of Columbus, Ohio, have developed nano-composite electrodes. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,595,127 on Sept. 29.
The patent has been assigned to NexTech Materials Ltd., Lewis Center, Ohio.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of making ceramic electrode materials comprising intimate mixtures of two or more components, including at least one nanoscale ionically conducting ceramic electrolyte material (e.g., yttrium-stabilized zirconia, gadolinium-doped ceria, samarium-doped ceria, etc.) and at least one powder of ...
