ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 3 -- Husnu M. Kalkanoglu of Swarthmore, Pa., Keith C. Hong of Lititz, Pa., Ming Liang Shiao of Collegeville, Pa., and Gregory F. Jacobs of Oreland, Pa., have developed an algae resistant roofing system. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,595,107 on Sept. 29.
The patent has been assigned to CertainTeed Corp., Valley Forge, Pa.
