ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 5 -- Andrew C. Keefe of Santa Monica, Calif., William Barvosa-Carter of Ventura, Calif., Christopher P. Henry of Newbury Park, Calif., Guillermo A. Herrera of Winnetka, Calif., Geoffrey P. Mc Knight of Los Angeles, and Nancy L. Johnson of Northville, Mich., have developed active seal assemblies for sound isolation. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,594,359 on Sept. 29.
The patent has been assigned to GM Global Technology Operations Inc., Detroit.
