ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- Gunther Petrzik of St. Georgen, Germany, Andreas Wild of Unterensingen, Germany, Lothar Wolf of Munchen, Germany, and Thomas Kress of Dachau, Germany, have developed a hydraulic circuit for a toroidal transmission. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,591,755 on Sept. 22.
The patent has been assigned to GETRAG Getriebe-und Zahnradfabrik Hermann Hagenmeyer GmbH, Untergruppenbach, Germany, and Cie KG and Bayerische Motorenwerke Aktiengesellschaft, Untergruppenbach.
