ATHENS, Ga., Oct. 5 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine will host the Science of Veterinary Medicine Research Day Symposium on Thursday, Oct. 29.Admission is free and the symposium is open to the public.UGA veterinary students who participate in the symposium can receive elective course credit.
Translational medicine is the theme for this year's symposium, which opens with keynote speaker Dr. Joe Kornegay, a professor in at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
