BRADENTON, Fla., Oct. 1 -- Manatee Community College issued the following news release:

Joyce Valentine, State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) adjunct music instructor, will present a piano concert at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. Valentine's performance will feature works by Domenico Scarlatti, Frederic Chopin, Ludwig van Beethoven and Alberto Ginastera. She will be accompanied by guest artist Jerome Butler, a double bass soloist who has performed with the Bachanalia Festival Orchestra in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.
