CORTLAND, N.Y., Oct. 7 -- SUNY Cortland issued the following news release:

Evan Summer, an internationally known printmaker and 1970 SUNY Cortland graduate, will exhibit his recent prints and photography at his alma mater's Dowd Gallery in the Dowd Fine Arts Center from Oct. 30-Feb. 18, 2010.

Summer, the recipient of many national and international awards for his artwork including the National Academy of Design's 1999 Leo Meissner Prize for printmaking, will give a walking tour of the exhibition, titled "Evan Summer: Prints, Drawings and Collages," at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, in the gallery. An opening reception for the artist precedes the tour at 5:30 p.m.
