DETROIT, Oct. 2 -- The city of Detroit issued the following news release:

The City of Detroit Senior Citizens Department will continue its blanket drive for senior citizens through Friday, November 6.

The Senior Citizens Department has arranged for four drop-off locations around the city to make it as convenient as possible for people to make blanket donations. NEW blankets of all sizes can be dropped off through November 6 at any of the following locations:
