AUBURN--A downstate energy company plans to finish work by the end of the year on a landfill-gas-powered electric plant in the city of Auburn.
CH Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: CHG) of Poughkeepsie is building the facility and will own and operate it Its agreement with Auburn allows the company to sell the plant to the city after 15 years.
