GENEVA, Oct. 9 -- Masaaki Endo, Syouzou Kaneyama, Kazuhiro Obae, Ichiro Ibuki, Michihiro Sunako and Nagatsugu Wakamiya - all from Japan, have developed a processed starch powder with excellent disintegration properties and manufacturing method thereof.

The patent has been assigned to Asahi Kasei Chemicals Corp., Tokyo, and Sanwa Cornstarch Co. Ltd., Nara, Japan.
