Article: NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY MEN POST FIFTH PLACE FINISH AT SOUTH DAKOTA STATE CLASSIC

BROOKINGS, S.D., Oct. 3 -- North Dakota State University issued the following news release:

The North Dakota State men's cross country team finished fifth of 12 teams at the South Dakota State Classic on Saturday, Oct. 3. Host South Dakota State won the eight-kilometer race with 25 points.

Sophomore Travis Fitzke was the lone top 10 finisher for the Bison, coming in ninth in 26:27.4. Fellow sophomore Colin Parrish posted a time of 26:51.9 in a 23rd place finish.

Junior Eric Stroh was 25th in 26:55.5, while sophomore Jake Henderson was 28th in 27:00.7. Sophomore Sam Larson finished 38th in 27:14.9.
