FARGO, N.D., Oct. 8 -- North Dakota State University issued the following news release:

The 36th annual Harvest Bowl program at NDSU is set for Oct. 23-24. Ron Offutt, businessman and farm owner, will receive the 2009 Agribusiness Award that recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of agriculture and business in North Dakota and beyond. Other outstanding agriculturists from across North Dakota and western Minnesota also will be honored. Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding male and female NDSU athletes.
