Article: Atlas resumes copper shipment to China

ATLAS Consolidated Mining and Development Corp. said it has completed its 10th shipment of copper concentrates produced from the Toledo copper mine in Cebu to China.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Atlas said its subsidiary, Carmen Copper Corp., shipped 5,570.988 wet metric tons to Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co., Ltd. smelter in Qingdao, China.

The shipped concentrates approximately contain 28.28 percent copper, 3 grams gold and 28.74 grams silver.

Under the terms of Carmen Copper's offtake agreement with MRI Trading AG, the contained copper is to be settled at $6,330 per metric ton or $2.87 per pound.
