A Navy Supply Corps officer at Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Jacksonville has been recognized for his contributions to fleet readiness.

Cmdr. James Peltier, the 2009 officer recipient of the Navy League of the United States' Admiral Ben Moreell Award for Logistics Competence Navy League, was nominated for the award while assigned as the logistics officer for 22nd Naval Construction Regiment (NCR) in 2008.
