SAN DIEGO, Oct. 11 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following press release:

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest awarded Souza Construction Inc. of Farmersville, Calif. a $339,118 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)-funded contract Sept. 14 to restore aged and deteriorated cooling towers at Naval Medical Center San Diego.

"The improvements provided by this project will replace three rooftop deteriorated cooling towers serving the computer rooms at building 1 NMC, which are rusting and are at the end of their useful life expectancy," said Neil Odish, NAVFAC Southwest project ...
