ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- Thomas B. Higham, is of Hyannis, MA, has developed a Ornithopter .The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 07600712 on Oct. 13.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: An new ornithopter is provided with an elongated body, wings extending laterally from the forward end of the elongated body, and a tail extending laterally from the rear end of the elongated body.
