ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- Karl Ostermann of Erie, Pa., Larry Ellis of Cattaraugus, N.Y., and Chris Oyer of Randolph, N.Y., have developed track adjustable mounting assemblies . The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,603,828 on Oct. 20.
The patent has been assigned to Alcoa Closure Systems International Inc., Crawfordsville, Ind.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a novel cam-actuated spindle assembly for selectively attaching a cam follower to a capping spindle.
