ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- Steve Tengler of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., and Anthony Baehner of Farmington Hills, Mich., have developed a traffic navigation system. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,606,662 on Oct. 20.
The patent has been assigned to Nissan Technical Center North America Inc., Farmington Hills.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A vehicle navigation system is provided with a destination input section, a travel route information section, a historical data input section and an expected travel time reporting section.
