ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- Mohamed Fayaz Khatri, Miamisburg, Ohio, has developed a patch antenna for rfid tag. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,605,706 on Oct. 20.
The patent has been assigned to The Kennedy Group Inc., Willoughby, Ohio.
According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An antenna for use with a Radio Frequency Identification, RFID, tag. A well-known, simple ?patch antenna? is formed by two metallic plates, one larger than the other, between which is sandwiched a dielectric sheet.
