Embree of Austin, Texas, Jeffrey L. King of Campbell, Calif., and Andy Brown of Mt. View, Calif., have developed system for preventing fraudulent activities. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,606,821 on Oct. 20.

The patent has been assigned to eBay Inc., San Jose.
