ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 29 -- Chih-Chun Hsiao, Kaohsiung County, Taiwan, has developed a liquid crystal display. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,605,880 on Oct. 20.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A liquid crystal display (LCD) including a backlight module, a LCD panel, a front frame, and a light strip is provided.
