ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 29 -- William Ziegler of Reading, Mass., David A. Colucci of Stoneham, Mass., and Thomas E. Hjort of Vejle, Denmark, have developed an apparatus and method for scalable power distribution. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,606,014 on Oct. 20.

The patent has been assigned to American Power Conversion Corp., West Kingston, R.I.
