Article: Patent No. 7,606,660 Issued on Oct. 20, Assigned to Alpine Electronics for In-vehicle Navigation System (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 29 -- Melvin Bernard Diaz of La Palma, Calif., and Tsutomu Tommy Ogawa of Torrance, Calif., have developed an in-vehicle navigation system with removable navigation unit. The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,606,660 on Oct. 20.

The patent has been assigned to Alpine Electronics Inc., Tokyo.
